Amazon revealed on Tuesday that it will divide its 2nd head office task, which it calls HQ2, in 2 with places in Queens, New York City, and Arlington, Virginia
In 2016, Bezos paid $23 million in money for a residential or commercial property in DC’s special Kalorama community, house to the Obamas along with Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner. It’s less than 6 miles from the future website of Amazon’s workplaces.
Bezos is stated to be investing $12 million to refurbish the houses and the surrounding home.
While the home does not appear to provide much personal privacy in the front– it was the website of the Fabric Museum for about a century– it consists of 2 different structures with almost 27,000 square feet of living area and a roomy yard.
The bigger of the 2 houses, the Wood Home, will be for amusing visitors, while the Pope Home will function as the household’s living quarters when they remain in town. The Bezos’ online remains in Medina, Washington– a remote, 5.3-acre substance on the coasts of Lake Washington.
