The clinical advantages– and drawbacks– of coffee are well-researched. However just how much do we understand about how the brain functions under the impact of caffeine?

A NASA research study from 1995 checked out the result of different chemicals on spiders offers us a look into how the brain is impacted by caffeine– and released a scary graphic demonstrating how poisonous caffeine is to the brain.

The scientists exposed spiders to a series of various chemicals, consisting of caffeine, cannabis, and Benzedrine– a kind of amphetamine– and kept in mind how they spun their webs under the impact of each of those compounds.

That’s not to state that caffeine is always bad for our brains, however.

Previously this month researchers discovered that drinking a minimum of 2 cups of coffee a day might reduce the danger of death from cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.
