Mimas, the Death Star moon

Join us on a romp through deep space as we take a look at fascinating images from area, consisting of a Video game of Thrones sign on Mars, Mr. Hankey on Jupiter and moons that appear like you might consume them.

Saturn has lots of moons, so it’s no surprise a minimum of a few of them advise us of more Earthly things. The moon Mimas is a sci-fi preferred thanks to its similarity to the Death Star from Star Wars.

Mimas is 246 miles (396 kilometers) in size, which is much bigger than the Death Star is expected to be. The big round crater seen on the side here is a dead ringer for the huge meal on the Death Star.

Update, April 26, 2019: Includes pictures of comet 67 P, Ultima Thule, Jupiter and others.
