Cosplay in spaaaaaace!

The team of the International Spaceport Station remains in the Halloween state of mind with a trio of out-of-this-world outfits. European Area Company astronaut Alexander Gerst tweeted images of the shenanigans on Wednesday, stating the team was having “a frightening day in area.”

Cosmonaut Sergey Prokopyev of Roscosmos is dealing with his hip-shaking rock ‘n’ roll relocations as Elvis Presley, total with wig, sunglasses, stick-on sideburns, guitar and an upturned one-piece suit collar. Gerst is concealing inside the Star Wars Darth Vader clothing while wielding a lightsaber.

NASA astronaut Serena Auñón-Chancellor, a doctor, put on a laboratory coat she has up in orbit and included some safety glasses and a spot with a skull and crossbones style. The clothing makes her appear like a mad medical professional or mad researcher.

The outfits belong to a grand custom of dressing up in area. NASA astronaut Scott Kelly alarmed us out with a weird mask in2015 ESA astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti published a selfie as Star Trek captain Kathryn Janeway previously that exact same year. And, oh yes, there’s a gorilla fit on the ISS

There are just 3 team members on board the ISS today after a stopped working Soyuz launch previously in October. They are continuing with their science responsibilities, however still have adequate extra time to commemorate Halloween in design.
